“ What a wonderful addition to the restaurant-rich Moody St in Waltham! We tried the pork and lamb sets, both in the house broth. Absolutely delicious! And given the very generous servings (including a large variety of vegetables), we were in no need for appetizer or dessert. It was a cold and wet night, so we opted for the hot sake. Next time, we'll try one of the many premium sakes. The service was top-notch. Catalina was happy to educate us about the finer points of Japanese Shabu-Shabu style eating. They also have an impressive selection of Japanese whiskey, which I'll definitely try on future visits. ”

The waiters we're extremely helpful, not intrusive and very knowledgeable of all the items on the menu. The food was amazing. Every bite was satisfying and with the side orders, they were a good distraction while the food cooked in the hot pot. As a post drink, I ordered the in house sake which was dry and left a good warm feeling as I drank it. I observed traditional Japanese gestures of respect which I very much appreciated. I definitely will go again! ”

“ What a great new gem on Moody Street! Just when I thought I would be further disappointed by another restaurant on Moody, I was so pleasantly surprised by delicious shabu shabu in a modern, clean setting! The short rib cubes were juicy and tasty, and the squid karaage had a nice crunch to it. The deluxe set we ordered included chicken, pork, seasonal veggies, and tonkatsu broth. The huge silver pot was a sight to see and the bubbly broth fun to throw all the ingredients in! Definitely also order sides like dumplings and extra veggies to throw in as well. "Fish paste" is also a must try. Trust me. It's a fun interactive dining experience, and the service is so great. The bartender even came by to check on my drink. I can't wait to go back! ”
“ Came here for my birthday and it was the best experience! I came with 7 friends and the service was amazing! I knocked over a glass of beer which also knocked over a glass of water and the hostess was quick to come over and clean it up, it was cleaned and my husband got a free refill before I even left the bathroom. Food was amazing, the meat was tender and juicy, and the system was explained perfectly to all my friends who have never had hotpot before. They gave me and a few friends a free shot before my husband drove us home, it was just the icing on the cake! 10/10 recommend and would def come here again! ”
